Introduction

Flixarr ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how our iOS application handles your information.

Information Stored Locally

The following information is stored only on your device:

Credentials & Configuration

• Server URLs (Sonarr, Radarr, Plex)
• API keys and authentication tokens
• Plex OAuth tokens
• Selected server preferences
• Application settings

Cached Data

• Media metadata (titles, posters, descriptions)
• Search results
• Download queue information
• Calendar data
• Watch progress

All this data is stored locally in your device's secure storage and is never transmitted to our servers (we don't have servers).

Optional iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync in settings:

• Your server URLs, API keys, and preferences can sync across your devices
• This sync uses Apple's iCloud infrastructure
• Data is encrypted using industry-standard encryption (AES-GCM)
• Encryption keys are stored in your device's Keychain and never leave your device
• You can disable iCloud sync at any time in Settings

Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties.

The app connects directly to:

1. Your Sonarr server - Using your provided URL and API key
2. Your Radarr server - Using your provided URL and API key
3. Your Plex server - Using OAuth authentication
4. The Movie Database (TMDB) - For movie/TV metadata and search (anonymous API calls)

No personal information or usage analytics are sent to these services beyond what's required for their normal operation.

Network Communication

All network communication occurs directly between:

• Your device ↔ Your Sonarr server
• Your device ↔ Your Radarr server
• Your device ↔ Your Plex server
• Your device ↔ TMDB API (for metadata only)

We do not operate any intermediary servers. Your data never passes through our infrastructure.

Security

We implement security best practices:

• Credentials stored in iOS Keychain
• Support for HTTPS connections
• Optional iCloud sync uses AES-GCM encryption
• No plaintext credential transmission
• Secure token-based authentication for Plex

Analytics & Tracking

We do not:

• Track your usage
• Collect crash reports
• Use advertising identifiers
• Employ third-party analytics tools
• Monitor your behavior

Children's Privacy

Flixarr does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is rated 12+ due to media content metadata (movie/TV information) that may contain mature themes.

Data Retention

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• Data persists as long as the app is installed
• Uninstalling the app deletes all local data
• You can clear cached data in Settings → Clear Cache
• You can disable iCloud sync to remove synced data from iCloud

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: All data is stored locally on your device
• Deletion: Uninstall the app or clear cache in Settings
• Portability: Your data is already on your device
• Correction: Edit settings directly in the app

Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Third-Party Services

The app integrates with services you control:

Your Servers (Sonarr, Radarr, Plex)
